Hucknall Flight Test Museum will be holding their popular Bike Night. All bikes are welcome whether vintage or modern, and a suggested donation of £3 per bike would go a long way to enable the Museum to stay open. Tea, coffee and food will be provided. There will also be an opportunity to view their historic aero engines including the iconic Merlin and the RB211 in Wing Hangar 1.

Nottinghamshire Police in conjunction with Mansfield District Council will be holding a Police Family Fun Day at Titchfield Park which is a free to attend community event that showcases the work that Nottinghamshire Police do. The public can take part in interactive elements throughout the day and there will be drones, teams from crime prevention, rural and off-road teams and CSI. The Police dogs will be in action too.

Two volunteers from Millside Radio will be raising money for the Station by holding a 24 hour Broadcast starting at 10.00am, running through to Wednesday 29th July at 10.00am. Listeners will be able to hear Dave Berry presenting a "warm up" breakfast show between 8.00am and 10.00am on the Tuesday just before the start of the big broadcast. The Echo is an audio magazine of local news and items of interest benefiting blind and partially sighted people in the Mansfield, Ashfield and surrounding areas. Volunteers prepare and record a new edition every three weeks and mail it to visually impaired listeners on compact disc or USB flash drive. Please contact the Echo if you or someone you know is visually impaired and would like to be included on their mailing list. It is free of charge, subject to certain conditions and may also be available to others having disabilities which make reading difficult.
