Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance invite you to Walk Side by Side through Sherwood Pines, in celebration of 30 years of their fantastic work across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. The walk is a 5km loop, accessible for both wheelchairs and pushchairs, which you can walk with family or friends or in memory of a loved one. At the finish line you can claim a well deserved medal. The Forces Vets Afloat Charitable Trust is a non-profit Organisation that helps military veterans get off the streets and into floating homes in the U.K. They have a fleet of four narrowboats and rely heavily on donations and Grants to continue their work. They are looking for volunteers to help restore the boats, so if you can do a bit of carpentry, handle a sander, do some painting or plumbing or taking stuff to the tip, your help would be very much appreciated.
